Beloved husband of the late Gladys Sims (nee Tune); loving and devoted father of Kaye Sims, Richard (Debra Morrell) Sims, Phyllis (Tim) Sanders, Jonathan (Julie) Sims and the late Marianne Blackard; (son-in-law Russ Blackard); loving grandfather of Brad & Andy Blackard and Lander Sims; dear brother of Nancy Adams and the late Martha Rose Tandy; dear brother-in-law of Betty Jean Moss; dear uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Lawrence served his country as a Hump Pilot in WW II, was a retired FAA flight safety officer and a flight instructor.

SERVICE Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday Nov. 21, at the STYGAR FLORISSANT CHAPEL & CREMATION CENTER 13980 New Halls Ferry Rd. (Florissant).

Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials to St. Judes Childrens Hospital preferred.
